CDA’s Summer Party 2024

We loved bringing joy and laughter to Clerkenwell Green and Bloomsbury Square Gardens, with our Summer Party! It was wonderful to meet so many local residents and employees from across the district.  A special thank you to Islington Council, Camden Council, Islington Giving and Camden Giving for supporting us and helping to create such a successful few weeks of events.

In Week 1 we hosted the Summer Party at the new Clerkenwell Green public space – and it was fantastic to see the space brought to life. We had stalls from Islington Giving, The Zetter Townhouse, Malmaison, Ten Health & Fitness & Flight Club Darts – whilst Old Sessions House supplied us with tasty treats throughout the day!

Meanwhile, Week 2 saw the Summer Party located in Bloomsbury Square Gardens – with stalls from Camden Giving, The Boutique Workplace Company, Coach Gyms, Sandbox, VR, Pop-up Painting, 1 Rebel, The Bloomsbury Hotel, Lucky Voice and the Friends of Bloomsbury Square Gardens.

The CDA Team was front and centre during both weeks, spreading joy with every spin of the wheel, every hook-a-duck win, and every sweet treat from our stall. From our local honey to a treasure trove of free goodies, we made sure there was something special for everyone!

Hundreds of you entered our ‘Glow Up’ competition, with fantastic prizes donated by Coach Gyms, The Boutique Workplace Company & The Kiln Rooms Farringdon. Our two lucky winners were delighted with their free gym membership, free workplace access and pottery class!

Topping it all off were our incredible musicians – John Fossey, Nuala Bennett-Wilford, and Iago Banet – who delivered fabulous acoustic performances throughout both weeks.
